How To Make a Maximum Impact With Promotional Plastic Pens- Print on the Clip

The other day I received a shipment of promotional plastic pens printed with my logo. They looked great and I am really looking forward to sending them out to my clients in the coming months.

What really jumped out at me more than ever was the printing on the clip and it is that imprint area I would like to discuss in depth today. Purchasing promotional plastic pens that have large imprint areas on the clip is an excellent way to promote your brand with maximum impact.

Most cheap promotional plastic pens do not offer large clip imprint areas. If they do, they are usually very small and fail to make people think about your brand. Often people waste the clip print space by printing their telephone number or web address. I myself have been guilty of doing this.

If you are trying to build your brand, it is important to get your beautiful logo in all its colour out and in front of your clients. If your logo is printed in a prominent area on all your promotional gifts, letterhead and brochures, your customers will see it more often and know it much better. Printing your telephone number in such an area may make it easy for people to phone you but it will do little to build your brand.

People are much more likely to remember your logo than your telephone number.

The best logos I have seen printed onto pens really make the user take notice. Once your clients know your logo and grab for the pen with it printed on the clip, they can rest assured that your contact details will be there too. They are promotional pens after all.

We all like to save money when promoting our businesses, but the additional few pence per pen that it will cost to print on the clip is money well spent. Even if you have a two, three or even full colour logo, invest in the clip print and let your logo shout out loud and clear who you are.

I will leave you here with one final thought. When we write, we hold the barrel of the pen. The clip is alway visible unlike what is printed on the barrel. That is also the case when we put a pen in our shirt pocket – the clip is what is seen by all we encounter.

Take a Look at the Prodir DS1 Pen

When you purchase the Prodir DS1 Pen to promote your business, you are choosing a promotional pen that has vintage style and a retro look that is like no other. COLOURS

Your Prodir DS1 pens can be manufactured to order. There are numerous colours and finishes to choose from that help you to make these pens truly your own. You can choose the colour of the nose cone, barrel, cap, dot and clip. You can also decide whether you want a translucent, frosted or solid matt or polished finish. It’s all completely up to you.

PRINT AREA

There are potentially five print areas on the DS1 pen. If you choose to have the optional dot, there is a print area of 8mm x 8mm on each side.

On the back of the cap, you can print up to two colours in a print area of 23mm x 4mm. The main print area is on the barrel where you can print to six colours in a massive print area of 50mm x 25mm. There is also a nice sized print area on the clip.

Print Area

The Prodir Pen company just sent me samples of the Prodir DS2 pen. This is an amazing pen! If you are already familiar with the DS2 but have not seen it in a while then it is time to look again. The popular Prodir pen has just got better.

I test all of the pens I sell in an effort to really get to know them. In doing so I hope to help you find the best pens for your promotions. I write 3000 words plus with each of the pens I test which of course is not a problem for any Prodir.

In fact, innovative Swiss pen manufacturer guarantees that each of the plastic promotional pens they produce has a writing life of 5000 meters. That is just over three miles!
